When should I use this method?
You should follow this procedure when.
- You cannot log in to your mobile app.
- You cannot log into M8chat.au.
- You cannot log into chat.m8chat.au.
Select Log In
From the main menu select the Log In option. It does not matter if you do not know your password or username.
All what we going to do is reset your password and have it emailed to you.
Select Lost Password
By selecting "Lost Password" you will get the option to enter an email address to which we will send the password reset link.
Enter Username or Email Address
Enter the Username you used normally to login or the Email Address you used to register with us.
We will check if the Username or Email excist, if it does you get an email from us... if not... well you will not hear from us M8.
Click Get New Password
Make sure you have entered an email we know. Then click the "Get New Password".
What happens next?
A few things will happen.
- We check if you are known on our system.
- If we find you we will send you an email with a password reset link.
- Click on the link in the email and follow the steps.
When you change your password on m8chat.au, it will change on all the other systems, such as your mobile app, chat.m8chat.au and others that are part of our ecosystem.
You only change your login details and account details at ONE place, and that is at https://m8chat.au. We will look after the rest.
